1. Acceptance of Terms
By using PutMySite's services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services. These terms apply to all clients in the US, Canada, Australia, and the UK.
2. Our Services
PutMySite provides:
- Custom website design and development for local businesses
- Domain name registration and management
- Website hosting and SSL certificates
- Ongoing website updates via SMS
- Professional email setup (Growth plan)
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our services with 30 days' notice.
3. Pricing and Payment
Setup fee: A one-time setup fee is charged upon signing up. This fee covers the initial website creation, domain registration, and configuration.
Monthly subscription: A recurring monthly fee is charged on the same date each month. Prices are in USD. Payments are processed securely by Stripe.
Failed payments: If a payment fails, we will attempt to retry for 7 days. After that, your service may be suspended until payment is made.
Current pricing: Starter — $97 setup + $67/month. Growth — $197 setup + $97/month.
4. Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us via SMS or email. Upon cancellation:
- Your monthly subscription stops immediately — no further charges
- Your website remains live until the end of the current billing period
- Your domain name will be transferred to you at no extra cost upon request
- The setup fee is non-refundable
5. Free Demo
We offer a free demo website before any payment is required. The demo is built at our expense and is provided for evaluation purposes only. You are under no obligation to proceed after viewing the demo.
6. Your Content and Ownership
You retain full ownership of all content you provide (text, images, logos). You grant us a limited license to use this content solely to build and maintain your website. Your domain name belongs to you — in the event of cancellation, we will transfer it to you within 5 business days upon request.
7. Our Responsibilities
We are responsible for:
- Building your website within 24 hours of receiving your information
- Keeping your website live and accessible
- Processing update requests via SMS within 1 business day
- Renewing your domain annually for as long as you are a client
8. Prohibited Use
You may not use our services to host websites that contain:
- Illegal content or activities
- Spam, phishing, or fraudulent content
- Content that infringes on intellectual property rights
- Malware or harmful code
We reserve the right to suspend any website that violates these terms without notice.
9. Limitation of Liability
PutMySite is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our services. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 3 months preceding the claim.
10. Uptime and Availability
We target 99.9% uptime for hosted websites. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance. We are not liable for downtime caused by third-party providers (hosting, domain registrars, DNS providers).
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via SMS or email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of our service after that date constitutes acceptance.
